Hyderabad, Nov 9 (UNI) Diwali, the festival of lights, was celebrated across Andhra Pradesh with religious fervour and enthusiasm.
The celebrations began with the devout making a beeline in temples to offer prayers early morning.
Special poojas were performed in all the temples, where serpentine queues were witnessed.
Clad in new clothes, people exchanged greetings and sweets with their brethren. A dazzling array of fireworks added grandeur to the celebration.
A report from Vijayawada said special poojas were performed in all the temples, including Kanakadurga temple, atop the Indrakeeladri hill.
