Six die in mishaps in Sonepat district

Sonepat, Nov 8 (UNI) Six persons including a young girl and a two year old boy were killed in different accidents in the district today.

According to official sources, three persons including a young girl were killed in a road accident involving a tractor trolley, a car, a motorcycle and a dumper near Rasoi on NH-I this morning.

Reports said that tractor driver identified as Manoj of Nirozpur village in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh died on the spot when his tractor trolley overturned after being hit in the rear by a speeding car. A young girl who was in the car alongwith her relatives was seriously injured in the mishap. She later succumbed to her injuries in a hospital in Narela.

Ram Kumar of Panchi Jatian village and serving in the Delhi police who stopped his motorcycle after watching the car-tractor trolley collision was killed on the spot after being hit by a dumper. The dumper and the motorcycle also caught fire which was extinguished by fire tenders that arrived at the spot.

In the second incident, Deepak a youth of local Shastri colony died after being hit by a tractor trolley on Gohana road.

In yet another incident an unidentified truck driver died on the spot when his vehcile was hit by another truck at Bahalgarh crossing on NH-I.

A two year boy identified as Tanush of Rai village drowned in a water tank outside his house this morning. The boy fell into the tank while playing.
