Myanmar's Suu Kyi meets UN envoy Gambari
Yangon, Nov 8: Detained Myanmar opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi was meeting United Nations special envoy Ibrahim Gambari in the former Burma's main city today.
Witnesses said a government car carrying the Nobel laureate swept into the compound of the state guesthouse where Gambari met her twice during his last visit a month ago, immediately after a crackdown on the biggest democracy protests in 20 years.
There were no details of Suu Kyi's talks with Gambari, who failed to get an audience with junta leader Senior General Than Shwe during his six-day visit.
