New Delhi, Nov 8 (UNI) The Northern Railways will increase its services by operating more trains to clear the extra rush of passengers during the festive season, a Railway release said today.
The carrying capacity of the 2229A/2230A Lucknow-New Delhi- Lucknow Superfast Special train will be augmented by five additional second class sleepers, one first class AC, one AC 2-tier and three AC 3-tier coaches from today to November 12, from both the directions.
On November 11 and 12, the 2004 A New Delhi-lucknow AC Shatabdi special train will depart from here at 0620 hrs to arrive at Lucknow at 1415 hrs the same day.
In the return direction, the 2003A Lucknow-New Delhi Jn. AC Shatabdi special train will depart from Lucknow on November 11 and 12 at 1500 hrs to arrive at New Delhi at 2255 hrs the same day.
The 4674 A Ludhiana-Sirhind-Muzaffarpur-Saharasa unreserved Mail/Express special train will depart from Ludhiana on November 8, 10 and 12 at noon to arrive at Saharasa at 2000 hrs the next day.
The 4673A Saharasa-Delhi Jn unreserved Mail/Express special train will depart from Saharasa on November 9, 11 and 13 at 2300 hrs to arrive at Delhi Jn at 1630 hrs on November 11, 13 and 15.
