Kidwai releases book on Saint Poet Janki Parshad

handigarh, Nov 8 (UNI) Haryana Governor A R Kidwai today released a book titled 'Kalam aur Vani ke Messiah' written by Mr Narender Kumar 'Upmanyu' on Saint Poet Janki Parshad at Haryana Raj Bhawan today.

Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda was also present on this occasion.

Speaking on this occasion, Dr Kidwai said that those nations who forget their leaders cannot prosper. He praised the family member of Shri Janki Prasad for not only following his footprints but also propagating his high ideals.

He said Yoga which gives us peace and tranquility had been propagated by him in the 20th Century which has become popular all over the world now.

On the occasion, the Haryana Governor honoured the writer of the book Narender Kumar 'Upmanyu' with "Shri Janki Prasad Rattan Sur National Award" which carries a cash amount of Rs five lakh, a Commendation Certificate and a shawl for his services in field of journalism, social service and environment and for bringing into light the works of the great Saint Poet of Northern India.

Ms Reena Devi from Panipat was honoured with "Shri Janki Prasad Rattan state award.
