New Delhi, Nov 8 (UNI) An eight-year-old child was rescued after the Delhi Police arrested his two kidnappers in Aligarh city in Uttar Pradesh.
The boy, Azruddin, was reported missing on October 31 from the Shakarpur area in east Delhi. The next day, a ransom call was received by the boy's mother and the caller demanded Rs 5 lakh for his safe release.
An FIR was registered under section 364-A of the IPC at the Shakarpur police station.
The calls were traced to Aligarh and callers identified.
The police yesterday laid a trap and the duo, Bhupender and Kailash, were nabbed from the busy road of Aligarh city after a scuffle.
