Two more fuse detonators explosive shells found in Khundru

Srinagar, Nov 7 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir police today claimed to have detected two more fuse detonators explosive shells in open fields in Khundru area of Anantnag district.

Police said the shells were found at Nowgam Achabal village.

A bomb disposal squad later destroyed the devices without causing any harm.

At least 20 people were killed, scores wounded and hundreds rendered homeless in series of explosions triggered by a devastating fire in the Army's biggest ammunition depot at Khundru in Anantnag district on August 11 this year.

The Centre has paid a compensation of Rs 26.7 crore to the victims of the incident.
