TNGCL and IOC inks MoU to open CNG filling stations

Agartala, NOV 7 (UNI) Tripura Natural Gas Corporation Limited (TNGCL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) to open CNG filling stations in Agartala and sub divisional towns of the state.

TNGCL's Managing Director SC Hotawal and General Manager (Marketing) G N Mohanti have signed the agreement in the office of TNGCL yesterday.

TNGCL will open CNG filling stations in outside the state capital as per needs.

" We have a plan to provide pollution free fuel throughout the state," said a TNGCL officer. It has also been decided that the filling stations will be opened near the petrol pumps.

TNGCL is currently providing 6503 domestic gas pipe lines in the capital city. The Corporation also provide gas cylinders to business establishments and brick kilns.
