Seven goldsmiths injured in dacoits attack
Bangalore, Nov 7 (UNI) Seven employees of a jewellery maker were seriously injured when they were attacked by a three member gang of dacoits with swords and clubs in the city today.
Deputy Commissioner of Police B N S Reddy said that the gang belonging to West Bengal barged into the workshop which was polishing a big quantity of gold jewellery and attacked them with sharp edged weapons.
However, the 13 employees gallantly repulsed the attack and alerted the police who rushed to the scene and nabbed all the three intruders.
Seven of the employees who received deep cuts in head and arms had been hospitalised, he added.
