Mani steps in with unity proposal among KC factions
Pathanamthitta, Kerala, Nov 7 (UNI) Kerala Congress (M) leader K M Mani today called for unity among all the 'Kerala Congress' parties and said they should set aside their differences to realise a common goal.
He said the KC(M) would take initiatives to evolve a consensus among all Kerala Congress factions to work unitedly to attain common political interests. Mr Mani expressed hope that the sister parties would be ''magnanimous'' enough to accept his offer.
Inaugurating the party's two-day state leadership camp at Charalkkunnu, near here the former minister said regional parties should work with creative vision to make country's federal set up ''meaningful.'' ''At some point of time, regional parties should eschew divisive tendencies,'' he observed.
