New Delhi, Nov 7 (UNI) Xenitis Group company Global Automobiles Pvt Ltd (GAPL) today launched its 100 cc motorbike Rock100, priced at Rs 19,990.
With a mileage of 125 km/litre, Rock100 has a four stroke engine, electronic self start and kick start Facility, tachometer, gear indicator, aerodynamic headlight etc.
Headquartered in Hooghly district of West Bengal, the company was started in February this year.
''We are going aggressive for an all-India launch of the bike at lowest-ever price point by any two-wheeler manufacturer in India.
This will cater to the requirement of the common people of our country,'' said Xenitis group CMD Santanu Ghosh.
Rock100 will also be taken to remote areas where finance is not available and will keep the two-wheeler market steady even without depending on retail financing, he added.
''Our two-wheeler factory has the capacity to churn out 3.6 lakh units annually. Today, the company has an order booking of 1.6 lakh units to be supplied till March 2008 from all India distributors and booked a sales turnover of Rs 400 crores for the current financial year,'' said Mr Ghosh.
The company has also got confirmed export enquires from West Asia, Russia, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and some African countries,'' added Mr Ghosh.
