23rd State Junior Athletics Championship from Nov 19

Mysore, Nov 7(UNI) Over 1600 Atheletes are expected to participate in the 23rd State Junior Athletics Championships being held here from November 19.

Speaking to newsmen, Karnataka Athletic Association Secretary Satyanarayna said that in all 118 events would be conducted for both Boys and Girls in the age group of 14, 16, 18 and 20 years. All the events would be held at Chamundivihar Sports Complex.

The Championship was held in the City of Palaces after a gap of 13 years.

He said that the Championships would be selection trail for selecting team for 23rd National Junior Athletics Championships scheduled to be held at Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh from November 24 to 29.
