Chandigarh, Nov 6 (UNI) India and Pakistan cricket team today reached here for the second match of the one-day match series to be held on November 8 at Mohali.
Both the teams flew in from Guwahati by a special plane at the air port here late this evening and were taken to Hotel Taj amid tight security.
Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and chief selector Dilip Vengasarkar are accompanying the team.
Pakistani team's captain Shoaib Malik and manager Ehsan Malik went straight to the Mohali stadium. According to team sources they would make an on the spot assessment of the pitch, ground and weather conditions in view of the day-and-night match.
Pakistan had planned to have practice this evening but deferred it due to their late arrival here.
According to sources, both the teams will have their practice sessions at about 1500hrs tomorrow evening.
