SHO shot dead in Uttar Pradesh

Hardoi, Nov 6: Station House Officer (SHO) of Lunar station was shot dead by a history-sheeter here this morning.

J P Singh was shot at in Raghavpur village, when he went to arrest notorious criminal Beta Singh, police said.

The critically wounded was rushed to hospital, where he later succumbed.

Meanwhile, the accused, who was facing charges in nearLy 24 criminal cases, had been nabbed.
