Night temperatures below normal in Chattisgarh

Pune, Nov 6 (UNI) Night temperatures were below normal in some parts of Chattisgarh while markedly above normal in some parts of Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha and Marathwada.

They were appreciably above normal in some parts of West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, east Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Assam, Meghalaya, Orissa, west Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu and in remaining parts of Vidarbha and Karnataka. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Heavy rains are likely to occur at many places in Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Rains or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir, south Madhya Maharashtra, coastal andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttaranchal, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, north Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Telangana.

Very light rains have occurred at isolated places in Rayalaseema, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.
