Gorakhpur University students went on hunger strike
Gorakhpur, Nov 6 (UNI) Protesting students of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay University of Gorakhpur today went on indefinite hunger strike, following the administration's hostel vacation order.
The college administration had ordered the vacation of Kabir hostel till November 6 after two students were attempted to be burnt alive over a room dispute.
Of the victims, one Bantu Singh, had later succumbed, sources said.
Vice Chacellor A K Mittal had even warned the seizure of student's luggage, if the hostel is not vaccated by the time.
Irked over which, students today went on the indefinite hunger strike.
