Earthquake dampens festive spirit
Junagadh, Nov 6 (UNI) The mild intensity earthquake that rocked Saurashtra region of Gujarat today affected the festive mood of the people with Diwali round the corner.
People from many cities and taluka towns, who had arrived from interior places for buying clothes and sweets, rushed back to their homes.
The double jolts, one early in the morning and another in the afternoon, made the locals a worried lot.
Eyewitnesses said people from Veraval town in Junagadh district and those living in Talala, rushed out of their homes after they felt the tremors and panic spread in the area.
