Demo condemns killing of LTTE leader

Tiruchirapalli, Nov 6: Tiruchirapalli district unit of the Puthiya Thamilagam (PT) staged a demonstration in front of the Collectrotate here today, condemning the killing of Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam political wing chief S P Thamilselvan in an aerial attack on November 2.

Led by district secretary R Elangovan, the volunteers shouted slogans against the Sri Lankan Government for allegedly killing the ethnic Tamils there.

They urged the Centre and Tamil Nadu governments to intervene and put an end to the attack on Tamils in the strife-torn island nation.

The party also condemend the Central and State governments for not helping the Tamils there by facilitating the dispatch of food and medicines through the International Red Cross.
