Accident kills 6 in Chhattisgarh
Kanker, Chhattisgarh, Nov 6 (UNI) At least six people were killed and 30 injured, after a bus fell in to a 100-foot deep gorge in Bastar district's Kanger Valley, roughly 25 km from here today.
Police Superintendent V S Choubey said, ''The vehicle carrying about 60 passengers was en route from Jagdalpur to Raipur when the accident occurred near Navamod.'' The accident took place at around 1530 hrs.
Four passengers who were severely injured were shifted to Kanker District Hospital. Other passengers sustained minor injuries.
The deceased were yet to be identified.
