Bangalore, Nov 6 (UNI) European major ABN AMRO, which has operations in about 63 countries, has come out with a Supply Chain Portal that offers Seamless end-to-end trade automation and also helps to improve cash flows and streamline invoice reconciliation and processing.
Speaking to news persons here today, Mr Ramesh Ganesan, Senior Vice President, Head-Transaction Banking, India, informed that streamlining of physical supply chain processes improves procurement and inventory management to certain point however if these were not integrated with financial supply chain processes the benefits may not be fully leveraged.
He said that ABN AMRO's Supply Chain Portal was delivered through MaxTrad, a market leader in trade technology. "This multiple award winning global trade platform offers buyers and suppliers a secure single point of access to a full suite of online products, comprehensive transaction tracking and associated date flow information" he added.
Outlining the features of the Portal, he said apart from providing seamless end-to-end trade automation it also offers Online connectivity for suppliers and buyers both domestic and overseas to exchange and reconcile Payment Orders and invoices. The portal also provides ability to suppliers and buyers to access financing against invoices he added.
