five
people
in
a
missile
attack
launched
by
a
drone,
near
a
madrasa
run
by
pro-Al
Qaeda
mujahideen
in
Waziristan
of
Pakistan
today.
A veteran mujahideen commander, Jalaluddin Haqqani, an old friend of Osama bin Laden, founded the extensive religious school. U.S. forces typically launch drone attacks across the border in Afghanistan. But according to the Pentagon, the U.S. military did not carry out the strike.
