New Delhi, Nov 5 (UNI) Uma Khurana, who was framed in the fake TV sting which showed her running an alleged prostitution racket, today filed a criminal defamation case before the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Sanjay Jindal against the channel Live India, its CEO Sudhir Chaudhary and accused reporter Prakash Singh.

Earlier today, the court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) Alok Agarwal granted bail to the reporter and co-accused businessman Virender Arora.

The show aired on August 30 led to rioting outside the school in Daryaganj area of Central Delhi where Khurana was a teacher.

Khurana's services were subsequently terminated and she had to face humiliation and mental agony. She was, however, given a clean chit by the Delhi Police in September.
