Two killed 7 injured, 3 houses gutted in Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 5 (UNI) Two people were killed and seven others wounded in separate incidents and three houses were gutted in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.

They said, a tractor overturned near Bijbehara causing on the spot death of driver Bilal Ahmad Wani.

A woman, identified Fatima Begum, was critically injured when a Maruti car hit her at Warpora. She was rushed to hospital where she was declared brought dead.

They said two people were injured when a vehicle hit a car at Gondipora, Beerwah, in the central Kashmir. Two more persons were injured when their vehicle met with an accident at Kalan Magam.

An Army vehicle hit a Maruti car at Putshahi causing injuries to driver Aijaz Ahmad Bhat. The injured was hospitalised.

Two houses and a cowshed were gutted at Rainawari and Babapora, Kupwara.

Two people were injured when an electric wire fell on them in the open field at Waghat, Handwara in north Kashmir. The injured were admitted to hospital, sources said.
