Relatives claims the body as Kajal

Patna, Nov 05 (UNI) In the statement given before the court on oath four people claimed that the dead body of young lady which was found in the state capital was of Kajal and they are relatives.

During the day all the four people were produced by the Patna Police before the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) of Patna with a prayer to record their statement on oath under section 164 of the code of criminal procedure. The CJM authorised Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate to record the statement.

Out of four, two witnesses Bibha Devi and Megha Arya claimed that Kajal was their sister. Other two witnesses a couple Gorishankar Pathak and Tanuja Devi said that Kajal was living with them since the age of eight years and went to her home when became adult. All the four witnesses claimed to identify the body of Kajal from the cutted finger and mark of tatoos on the hand.

It is to be noted that a body of young lady was found under Shashtri Nagar Police Station area near the community hall of electricity colony on October 31, 2007.
