Karnataka Governor arrives in Delhi
New Delhi, Nov 5 (UNI) Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur arrived here tonight.
Mr Thakur, when asked by newspersons in Karnataka Bhawan, maintained that his visit to Delhi was in connection with an ongoing seminar on federalism.
He declined a direct answer to a question if he would submit his report on Karnataka political situation to the Centre.
Meanwhile, the BJP announced that its and JD(S) MLAs would come to Delhi tonight from Bangalore. They would meet and apprise President Pratibha Patil at 1800 hrs tomorrow, the party sources said.
Senior BJP leaders, Venkaih Naidu and Yashwant Sinha, will lead the delegation which will urge the President to direct the state governor to call BJP leader B S Yedyurappa to form the government as he had support from 129 MLAs in the 224-member house.
