Hyderabad, Nov 5 (UNI) Hero Ultra, a venture between Hero Exports Private Limited (HEPL), affiliated to Hero Cycles Limited (HCL) and UK-based Ultra Motor Company (UMC) today launched Electric Two-Wheelers 'Velociti' and 'Maxi'.
In a release here, Company Deputy CEO Gaurav Munjal said "Hero Exports and Ultra Motor Company have a strong partnership in the country and worked ceaselessly to create a new market for Electric Two Wheelers. To move the latest models in market, the company would combine necessary resources to make Hero Ultra, a leading two wheeler brand in South India.
The company had already opened four showrooms in the city, he said, adding 11 more showrooms would be launched soon in the state.
Earlier, Hero Cycles Limited had signed a Technical Collaboration-cum-Joint Marketing Agreement with Ultra Motor Company to market the 'Hero Electric-Ultra Powered' and Electric Two-Wheelers in India.
Company Chairman Ian Woodcock said India was the biggest market to offer huge potential for Electric Two Wheelers. We had already launched our products in the North and West India.
The existing range of seven Electric Two Wheelers was priced between Rs 14,400 and Rs 27,900, he added.
