In the second innings, Haryana's leg spinner Amit Mishra bowled with lot of fire to restrict Goa to 221 all out in 63.3 overs. He was ably assisted by medium pacer Joginder Sharma and Sanjay Bhudwar, who claimed two wickets each.

Goa made a disastrous start in their second inning. Their Top order batsmen failed to negotiate the pace and spin attack of the visitors and Goa began losing wickets at regular intervals. The first five wickets fell with the score at 133.
