TN: FM unhappy over roads' poor condition

Pudukkottai, Nov 5: Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram expressing concern over the poor quality of roads in Tamil Nadu, came down heavily on the authorities concerned.

Addressing the party workers at Arimalam and Thirumayam near here yesterday, Mr Chidambaram pointed out that the poor quality roads in the State were unable to withstand rain.

He urged the State Government to address complaints on illegal quarrying.
