Mumbai, Nov 5 (UNI) Firstsource, a leading Business Process Outsourcing company, has won the National Outsourcing Association (NOA) Award for Telecommunications Outsourcing Project of the Year for its work with Vodafone UK.
The project provides customer services for Vodafone UK's contract customers, with voice support from Belfast and email support from Mumbai, a press statement said today.
According to the NOA's panel of judges: ''Firstsource excelled brilliantly at combining offshore and onshore seamlessly. They provided clearly defined, measurable objectives and outstanding training provisioning.'' One of the reasons that Vodafone UK selected Firstsource as an outsource partner, according to the statement, was for the company's process improvement expertise.
''This has been applied to the Vodafone UK customer service process and has achieved several innovations and improvements which have subsequently been applied to other delivery centres at Vodafone UK. Firstsource has also consistently achieved among the top scores in Vodafone's Real Time Customer Satisfaction surveys,'' the statement said.
