60 injured in Kerala bus accident

Kochi, Nov 5 (UNI) As many as 60 people were injured when a private bus overturned on the Goshree bridge after developing a mechanical failure today.

The injured were admitted to various city hospitals, including the Ernakulam General Hospital.

City traffic police said the private bus, plying on the Munnambam-Ernakulam route, overturned on the Goshree bridge at about 1000 hrs.

Earlier, the police said the bus fell off the bridge but later informed that it had overturned on the bridge.
