Seoni, MP, Nov 4 (UNI) At least 60 school children participating in the three-day 'Mowgli Utsav', which began yesterday, today fell ill.

Dr Yatindra Kumar of community health centre in Karai said 122 children were examined after some children complained of diarrhoea.

60 of them were found ill and treatment was provided to all. Their condition was stated to be normal.

Dr Kumar suspected that the problem was caused due to drinking water.

Sub-Divisional Officer of Police N P Namdev said nine children complained of stomach ache and were provided medicines. All the children were fine.

However, Mowgli Utsav Shivir's Commander Rajendra Nigam confirmed that only five children were ill.

About 200 children from across the state are participating in the programme organised at the Pench National Park.
