Reddy asks minister, officials to take winter session seriously

Hyderabad, Nov 4 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today asked his Cabinet colleagues, Secretaries and other senior officials to take the winter sessions of Assembly and Council beginning tomorrow, as a 'serious business'.

Addressing ministers and senior officials of the government at Secretariat today Dr Reddy said '' all of us should be thoroughly prepared in advance to answer all the questions and issues that will be raised by the Opposition from time to time without taking it lightly.

He wanted all the questions raised during 'Zero hour' should invariably be answered and sent to the respective member immediately within three to four days with a copy to the Speaker as per procedure.

The Chief Minister asked all the Ministers to be present in the House, though they do not have any scheduled business in the House for the day.

He told all the senior officials that without his permission no one should leave the headquarters and except on emergency no Secretary would be permitted to leave headquarters during the session, an official release said.
