The
BJP
today
called
off
the
round-the-clock
dharna
launched
by
its
legislators
and
leaders,
demanding
the
Karnataka
Governor
to
invite
B
S
Yeddyurappa
to
form
the
new
government
in
the
state.
BJP Karnataka president D V Sadananda Gowda told reporters here that the party would launch a 'Save Democracy Rally' from Kolar tomorrow to protest against the delay in inviting the BJP-JD(S) coalition to form the new government in the state.
The BJP leaders led by Mr Gowda met Governor Rameshwar Thakur this afternoon and urged him to invite the party to form the new government, he added.
