New Delhi, Nov 3 (UNI) Loops connecting Delhi to the Indira Gandhi International Airport on the 27.7-km-long Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway has opened, significantly reducing travel time to the IGI.
India's leading infrastructure developer and investor, DS Constructions Ltd. today announced that it has opened the 1100m long loop from the expressway to the IGI and the 700m long loop (both including RE wall) from IGI Airport to the expressway.
The development comes in the light of DSCL's plans to open all completed stretches to ensure smooth flow traffic and provide relief to commuters.
DSCL has already opened eight out of nine flyovers on the stretch and with the opening of these loops, most of the expressway has been opened to traffic.
The loops will not only reduce the travel time between Delhi and IGI Airport but also help in reducing congestion on the expressway by diverting the traffic meant for the airport, a company release said.
