Tiger Woods to make Dubai his second home

Dubai, Nov 3 (UNI) Golfer Tiger Woods, one of the world's richest sports stars, is all set to build a 16500 sq ft mansion here as his second home.

Dubai already is home to a galaxy of sports stars.

The mansion comes complete with a gymnasium, theatre, library and pool, and will overlook the Al Ruwaya golf course.

The ultra-exclusive gated community, is being developed by a Dubai Holdings company Tatweer.

The community will have 287 villas and mansions and are expected to be priced between 12 million and 23 million dollars. Woods has selected one of them for his home.

Project manager Abdulla Al Gurg, said the golfer was already in the process of reviewing floor plans for his residence in New York.

The gorfer recently bought a 10-acre ocean-front property in Jupiter Island, Florida, recently for 40 million dollars. Forbes magazine called the area ''the most expensive zip code'' in the US after the purchase.

The new property, however, has not proved so lucky for Woods, as the refurbished guesthouse attached to the mansion was severely burnt down by a lightning strike in July this year.
