Injury-time goal gives Arsenal 2-2 draw with United

By Staff

LONDON, Nov 3 (Reuters) A scrambled injury-time goal by captain William Gallas gave Arsenal a 2-2 draw with Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium today to preserve their unbeaten record this season and stay top of the Premier League.

Gallas, who gave United the lead with an own goal in first-half stoppage time, rescued an Arsenal side who were heading for defeat after Cristiano Ronaldo put the champions 2-1 up from close range eight minutes from time.

Arsenal stay top with 27 points from their 11 matches, United remain second on 27 from 12. It was Arsenal's 25th match in all competitions without defeat, a club record.
