Panipat, Nov 3 (UNI) The two-day International conference on Advanced Computing and Communication Technologies ICACCT '07, inaugurated at APIIT SD India here today has generated response from academia, research institutions and industries from all over the world.
Mr A R Upadhyay, Convener informed reporters that ICACCT '07, sponsored by CISCO and IETE jointly, had received more than 300 valuable research papers globally and after intense peer review 140 papers have been published.
Mr Manojit Majumdar Country Manager, IBM Academic-India was the chief guest at this inaugural ceremony and released the proceedings of ICACCT '07.
Adrian Low, Director Research Staffordshire University, UK presided over the function along with Dr. Tony Atkins, International Program Advisor Staffordshire University, UK .
Industry leaders and academia were in the consensus that a revolution in Advanced Computing and Communication Technologies is certainly going to bring changes and create e-societies globally.
The conference was attended by delegates from Malaysia, Sri Lanka, UK, Thailand, Bhutan and representatives of many prestigious Institutes and universities of India.
That more than 14 parallel technical sessions have been organised and chaired by reputed academicians and industry leaders in which more than 114 research papers were presented.
