Bangalore, Nov 3 (UNI) Karnataka Governor Rameshwar Thakur today reviewed the law and order situation in the state in the presence of one of his advisors and other top officials.
He held a comprehensive discussion with his Advisor and former RAW official P K H Tharaken, Chief Secretary, Director General of Police, Police Commissioner of Bangalore and other Senior police officer on the law and order situation and other related issues in the State, according to a release by Information Officer to the Governor.
Mr Thakur thanked the people for their cooperation in the peaceful observance of Datta Mala, Dusshera, Durga Pooja and Eid.
In the context of the forthcoming festivities of Diwali, Governor appealed to the people to exhibit the same degree of cooperation with the authorities in maintaining law and order.
The Governor directed the Police to be vigilant and be prepared to maintain peace and tranquillity.
