First ever website on Gujjars launched in J

Srinagar, Nov 3 (UNI) A first ever website on Gujjars of Jammu and Kashmir was launched here today.

The main aim of the website, launched by the Tribal Research and Cultural Foundation (TRCF), an organisation working for the welfare of Indian Tribes, is to keep the members of the community informed about the changing times in the age of information revolution.

The web site can be accessed at www.jktribals.co.cc with an alternate address www.jktribals.page.tl.

It carries detailed information about the Gujjars of the state, their history, heritage, culture, social structure, economy, language and its different facets.
