New Delhi, Nov 3 (UNI) Skipper Odafe Onyeka Okolie slammed five goals, including a hat-trick, to lead Churchill Brothers to an emphatic 6-1 victory over Central Railways and storm into the semi-finals of the 120th Osian's Durand Cup Football tournament here today.

Okolie, who had also scored a hat-trick in his side's 4-1 victory over Hindustan Aeronautics Limited in a pre-quarterfinal match on October 30, was at his devastating best, finding the net in the 12th, 40th, 54th, 58th and 82nd minutes after Kasif Jamal had put Central Railways ahead in the sixthth minute.

Thangjam Singh rounded off the tally in the 85th minute at the Ambedkar Stadium.

Churchill outplayed their opponents in all depts of the game and play remained confined to Railway's half for most part of the match.

But it was Central Railways who drew first blood to the surprise of everybody with Kashif Jamal converting a spot kick after Churchill's defender Govin Singh handled the ball in the penalty area six minutes after the start.

Churchill did not take more than six minutes to equalise through a freakish goal as Okolie's free kick from outside the box found the back of the net after deflecting off a defender.

The Goan side had to wait till 40th minute to surge ahead when Okolie lobbed the ball into the goal over the Railway goalkeeper.

Nine minutes into the second half, Okolie collected a cross from the left by Robert Lathlamuan, and beat a defender before blasting home.

Okolie did not remain quiet for long and four minutes later, he dodged past six defenders before scoring.

Eight minutes from the end, Okolie scored his fifth goal with a searing left footer from inside the box which went in after touching the outstreched hands of the goalkeeper.

Thangjam made his contribution five before the final whistle with a right foted first time volley, connecting a cross from the left by Mboyo Iyomi.

Churchill will take on either Dempo or Air India in the semi-final on Monday.
