Vimal relaunches exclusive showroom in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, Nov 2 (UNI) Vimal, Reliance Industries' iconic textile brand, relaunched its exclusive showroom here today.

In the fist phase after its launch here today, Vimal will also be launching showrooms in Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Kochi.

The number of these exclusive stores will go up to 23 in the next six to nine months, RIL textile business president Anand Parekh said.

The premium Vimal exclusive stores offer not just the latest fabric collections but also a range of men's apparel: shirts, trousers, suits and jackets. All these would be available under three sub-brands in one showroom -- Vimal Red, Vimal White and Vimal Black, Mr Parekh said. Vimal Red will be at the lower end of the spectrum while Black would cater to super-premium range.

Though Red and White can be had from non-Vimal stores stocking Vimal, Black would be available exclusively in Vimal showrooms.

Commenting on the Reliance textiles growth strategy, Mr Parekh said that the company would focus on three to four products namely worsted suitings which is presently pegged at Rs 970 crore with a growth of 7-10 per cent.
