Hyderabad, Nov 2 (UNI) Alleging that 'Reliance Fresh' outlets, set up in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad and parts of the Telangana region were 'snatching' the livelihoods of small and small business people, the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) today declared a war on its outlets.
Speaking to newspersons here, TRS President and former Union Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao said the party would fight against the setting up of Reliance and Heritage outlets in the Telangana region. The small businessmen were facing threat from these outlets as they would lose their livelihoods, he claimed.
The TRS started staging demonstrations outside the outlets in the twin cities, Mr Rao said, adding that the agitation would be intensified and extended to other parts of the region.
To a query, he said the TRS would also fight the proposed 'Lanco Hills' real estate business, operating in the Waqf lands, through courts.
