Sub-zonal commander of CPI (Maoist) arrested in Gaya

Gaya, Nov 02 (UNI) A sub-zonal commander of the proscribed CPI (Maoist) was arrested at Simrahua village under Aanti police station in the district.

Police said acting on a tip off they raided a criminal hideout at the village and arrested Anil Yadav alias Mantu, a sub-zonal commander of the ultra outfit.

Several incriminating documents were also recovered from him, police said adding he was wanted in connection with several criminal cases, including attack on police picket in Gaya district.
