Sepultura to rock Bangalore on Saturday

Bangalore, Nov 2 (UNI) After receiving a thunderous reception at New Delhi and Shillong, Brazilian rock band 'Sepultura' is all set to rock the 'heavy music' buffs in this city tomorrow.

Brought to India by 'Kingfisher' the country's leading beer brand, Sepultura, which has become a cult with millions of music lovers head banging and singing to their tunes worked over, the band arrived in the city as part of its 'The Dante XXI' tour.

Sepultura, the first Brazilian to succeed abroad, is performing in India as part of the Kingfisher Metalfest, the annual property that aims to target significantly large population that consumes the harder genre of music between hard rock and heavy metal.

Pleased with the grand success of their high decibel concerts in Delhi and Shillong over the last month end, band leader Max Cavalera, who plays the rhythm guitar, said, "we are excited to come and play in India where we have a large fan following. We are going to bambooze you with heavy music tomorrow." The other members of the band include Igor Cavalera (drums), Jairo Guedes (lead guitar) and Wagner Lamounier (vocals).
