Kolkata, Nov 02 (UNI) Indian Team manager Lalchand Rajput today upped the ante right after setting foot in Kolkata stating that the Twenty20 world Champions were well prepared to meet Pakistan in the ODI series.
Rajput, who has been managing the side for three back to back series, began the mind games even as Pakistan were playing a warm up match against the Delhi Ranji side in the nation's capital.
''We are well prepared. Remember that we have become Twenty20 world champions defeating them. The Australia series was closer than what the result shows. The boys are fit and ready for the ODI series,'' he said.
He added that it would be a tough fighting series, but the Indians were ready for any challenge.
Asked about the cloudy weather at Kolkata today, he said, ''The camp will get underway at the Eden Gardens as scheduled. If the rain continues then we will practice indoors.'' The Indian team is scheduled to begin practice at the Eden Gardens in the afternoon today.
