Chennai, Nov 2 (UNI) The BJP today alleged that the Congress at the Centre was acting in a partisan manner by trying to scuttle the formation of the BJP-JD(S) coalition government in Karnataka and expressed doubts if Governor Rameshwar Thakur was consulting the Centre over the government formation.

Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters 'Kamalalayam' here, senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu demanded that the Karnataka Governor immediately call the BJP to form the Government as it had the required strength along with the JD(S).

Mr Naidu alleged that the Congress was trying to get the Karnataka Assembly dissolved and ''the party is resorting to dirty games'' to stop the BJP from coming to power.

Criticising the reported statement of senior Congress leader M Veerappa Moily in New Delhi that the Governor had sent a ''statement of facts'' to the Centre, he wondered how this was made known to Mr Moily when the report was not made public.
