Babulal refuses govt compensation against son's life
Giridih, Nov 2 (UNI) Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Babulal Marandi, whose son Anup died in the recent naxal strike in Chilkhari village, today refused to accept Rs one lakh as compensation provided by the state government.
Sources said an additional deputy collector along with Deori block development officer reached the former CM's house at Kodaibank to hand over the cheque.
The process to hand over compensations to the other 19 families was on, sources added.
The naxals massacred 20 people in the district on October 27.
