5 executive engineers among 8 fraudulent PWD officials booked

Siddharthnagar, Nov 2 (UNI) Eight Public Works Department (PWD) officials, including five executive engineers, have been charged with forgery here.

According to police, a case was registered after gross irregularities of Rs 1.8 lakh were detected in the construction of Lumbani-Buddhi road.

Those booked at Mohana police station include executive engineers Hari Mohan Sharma, Anup Kumar, Harish Chandra, J P Singh, Shailendra Singh, besides assistant engineer Sandesh Kumar and Arvind Kumar and junior engineer Pyare Lal.
