Two CRPF jawans injured in Naxalite attack

Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, Nov 1 (UNI) Two CRPF jawans were injured in separate Naxalite attacks at Bastar division in Narayanpur district today, police said.

A CRPF patrol party escaped a landmine blast at Benur area earlier. However, head constable P K Mahapatra received a gunshot during firing between both sides. He was in serious condition.

In another Naxalite incident in Dandwan area, constable P C Kande was injured.

The injured were admitted to the Ramakrishna Mission hospital.
