Security pension scheme for agricultural labourers
Jhabua, MP, Nov 1 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today launched security pension scheme for agricultural labourers on the occasion of the foundation day of the state.
Mr Chouhan said a provision of Rs four crore has been made for the scheme, which would provide assistance to agricultural labourers and their families in health, education, marriage, etc.
He approved Rs two crore for re-starting 300 of 500 closed water projects. Besides, he assured that steps would be taken for making Alirajpur a district.
Mr Chouhan also did 'bhoomi pujan' for road projects under the Prime Minister Sadak Yojna and six ponds under the Employment Guarantee Scheme.
